Synopsis: This one-week seminar, designed as an immersion camp and cultural exchange, is aimed at Oriental dancers who wish to learn or deepen their knowledge in the Neoandalusi dance style created by Nesma.

If this is your first participation in the Al-Andalus camp, we recommend this version we call “Classic” because it follows the same original structure that has been successful since its first edition in 2010. The course includes an introduction to Nesma’s neoandalusi dance style and workshops on the history and culture of Al-Andalus, its music, and Nesma’s costume design.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in a guided tour of the city of Córdoba with its Andalusian heritage, including its iconic Mosque. It’s very interesting for understanding the culture of Al-Andalus and a visit that cannot be missed for lovers of Arab culture.

You can also choose the “Live Music” camp or continue with the full 2-week course.

Course Registration

Guided tour to Córdoba (optional): €140

Including journey, lunch, guide, and entrance fees to monuments. Minimum 10 people. Reservation for the trip must be made before October 1st. Rest of the payment is made at the camp, in cash, in the days before the trip.

The total course price includes:

• All classes.
• Flamenco show with live music.
• Closing party with participants’ performances.

The course price does NOT include:

• Guided tour of Córdoba (optional activity).

The accommodation price includes:

• Accommodation in a shared double room for 2 people with private bathroom (or single room with supplement*).
• Room cleaning, change of sheets, and towels twice a week.
• All meals: buffet breakfast, salad buffet all day, and dinner. Except for lunch in Granada during Thursday’s visit.
• All meals during the week are vegetarian and vegan.
• All-day drinks: soft drinks, mineral water, wine, beer, tea, coffee.
• Transport from Malaga airport and Benajarafe bus station to the hotel on arrival and departure days from 08:00 to 20:00.

Notes:

• Shared rooms are organized according to the order of participants’ registration. The availability of a double room is not guaranteed if the number of participants is odd.
• If you want to come with a companion, contact us before making the reservation to check room availability. Companions are not allowed in classes or music and costume workshops.
• At Casa El Morisco, room cleaning and towel change are done twice a week.

The accommodation price does NOT include:

• Transfer from the train station or other locations besides the airport.
• The hotel organizes a transfer to the hotel from a bus stop in the city of Benajarafe.
• Transfer from the airport outside the collection day and time (Sunday from 08:00 to 20:00) **

Duration: 28 hours of workshops from Monday to Saturday. Thursday is a rest day and optional sightseeing.

Booking and Payment

COURSE:

• Payment of the full course or booking by credit card, Paypal, or bank transfer.
• The booking fee will be deducted from the total course price.
• Payment of the course balance before January 7th.
