Wedding parties or Night Club?
I enjoy dancing at weddings, but what I really like is the Cabaret, the “good Cabaret”, Night Club they call it in Egypt. I like the five stars night clubs but also the “no stars”. The Night Club is magical, it is a fascinating place where people understand music and dance. They go there to listen, watch and enjoy. Weddings are different, it’s more about encouraging the public and getting them to dance … I do not feel an entertainer and I’m not so good at it.
What I like is Oum Kalthoum, the classics; this is not the kind of music to dance at weddings.
¡I love to dance! ¡I love to dance at Night Club! And I am very proud of it.
Unfortunately there are less and less traditional Night Clubs in Cairo, with live music and Oriental dance shows.
