It is not easy to describe in four lines what Nesma means for oriental dance. It is so much and at the same time so simple but so difficult to meet: authentic passion, love, nobility and sense of art.
Without going into her career and contribution to this art, she is undoubtedly a living legend for many reasons: as a teacher I feel that she is really the only one I have had in the full sense of the word. It goes far beyond technique and form. She pushes you to look for yourself, without fear, transmitting the purest essence, not subject to fashions and providing all the tools with an incredible generosity and always with humility and respect.
To undergo the AATEC Program was undoubtedly been the best decision I took in my career in this beautiful art. Of course because of the quality of the course, but also because I can’t imagine how my vision of Oriental dance would be right now if I hadn’t known what I consider a light in the dark.
